Spring Weatherly Hillclimb 2025 was held June 7-8 , 2025 in Weatherly, PA. This SCCA sanctioned event was hosted by the Weatherly Hillclimb Association, and was the second event in the eight event 2025 PHA Championship Series.
Spring Jefferson 2025 was held May 24-25, 2025 on the Jefferson Circuit track at Summit Point Motorsports Park in Summit Point, WV. This event was hosted by Blue Mountain Region SCCA and was the first event in the eight event 2025 PHA Championship Series.
The Carlisle Import/Performance Nationals is the largest import/performance car show in the US. Since 2006, the PHA has enjoyed a major presence at this show in the Race Paddock, and our display has served well to publicize and promote the PHA and its activities. This year was no exception.
The year always starts out with New Years Day Duryea, when we meet at turn 2 on Jan 1 at noon. This social gathering has been happening every year since I can remember, and is always fun!
The annual PHA Awards Banquet was held Nov 9, 2024 at the Grantville Holiday Inn in Grantville PA, and it was a lot of fun as usual. We had a really good turnout this year. For those of you who could not make it, you were missed!

The “Butterfly Effect” is the thought that something as small as the flutter of a butterfly’s wing can start a series of events. The flutter of the wing moves the air, which causes a ripple in a pond, which causes a rock to shift and so on.
Is it possible that when Gary wheeler designed the 1978 Wheeler Formula Super Vee (FSV), he imagined the chain of events that might follow? Could he have sensed that his beautiful design would draw friends together to echo through generations and be loved almost 50 years later?

Here it is November, and the day after the awards banquet, and I still haven’t posted about Duryea, Shenandoah and Fall Weatherly. Instead of writing individual posts about these events, I am posting the “2024 Season in Review” article from the 2024 PHA Banquet program, and will include an extended section for each of these events to make up (hopefully) for my lack of posts.

Pagoda Hillclimb 2024 was held June 22-23, 2024 in Reading, PA. It was the third event in the seven event 2024 PHA Championship Series.
