From Rich Rock, Shenandoah Event Chair:
Thanks to a few more entries and additional sponsor money that has been pledged over the last couple days, the projected loss that the Shenandoah event will incur has been reduced to a more manageable number. (around $2k)
As a result, THIS YEAR’S Shenandoah is officially ON.
For next year’s Summit Point events we need to figure out a way, other than just begging for sponsors, to reduce BMR’S financial risk. The easy way would be to simply not host those events, but that shouldn’t be Plan A. There’s gotta be a better way, and since the 2026 Summit Point contracts will likely come out in November, we need to find it soon.
Thanks and see ya soon,
Rich

Let’s prove him wrong, and get a few more entries and/or sponsors for this event so that it doesn’t lose any money at all! 🙂
Please also think about what we can do for next year’s Summit Point events. Bring your ideas to the November 22 PHA meeting, or send them to Rich if you won’t be able to attend the meeting. Rich’s contact info can be found on the PHA Contacts page of this website.
