PHA Hall of Fame | Pennsylvania Hillclimb Association

Introduction

The PHA Hall of Fame was formed in 1999 to honor individuals for their dedication to and love of Hillclimbing, and for their contributions to the Pennsylvania Hillclimb Association in competition, as a worker, organizer or officer, or both. Inductees possess a strong moral character and demonstrate the levelheaded, cheerful camaraderie that sets hill climbers apart from most competitors in other motor sports.

The Hall of Fame award is not a long-time service award. Although service indicates commitment to the sport, it is not the only criteria to be considered. Although drivers are the usual nominees, it is not a mandatory requirement. Through induction into the Hall of Fame, we seek to honor those people that have left a lasting mark on a sport they have contributed so much to.

Without the efforts of the many of the PHA Hall of Fame members, the motorsport of hillclimbing would not be what it is today.
