If you are following this blog, you must be wondering when the articles are going to end, and we are at the last one. I am personally really grateful to everyone who contributed, and I hope we can do this again next year. I need your articles though!
The last article in the 2023 program was a reprint of the wonderful tribute that Alex Kihurani posted about his father.
Robert Laravie’s electric “15 Baker Torpedo Kid” is one of the more interesting PHA cars, and Robert submitted an article (and program ad) this year.
Mary Anne Fieux was kind enough to submit an article on working the hill. Mary Anne and her partner Chuck Christ have been at it a long time, and do an amazing job. They are also drivers when they are not working.
Mary Anne and Chuck Christ were awarded the “2023 Worker of the Year” award this year at the PHA Banquet, as was Diane Bower.
