The Courses

Hillclimbs are the among the oldest motorsports events in the world, dating back to when early manufacturers tested their cars over the most demanding terrain possible.  Races such as Pikes Peak, CO and “The Climb to the Clouds” at Mt Washington, NH are known around the world.

Pennsylvania also has it’s own longstanding hillclimb tradition.  Since the invention of the automobile, dozens of sites in Pennsylvania have seen organized races, and some of these sites are still being hillclimbed today.  The current PHA schedule has 8 events, with 6 hillclimb events, and 2 events on a permanent track.

The PHA is always looking for new sites to add to the schedule, Please contact us if you would like to suggest or sponsor an event.
